Finding a cheap flight is not always about choosing the lowest price displayed in search results. Baggage allowances, connections, travel dates and ticket conditions can make two seemingly similar fares very different purchases.

Aviasales is a free flight-comparison service that searches airline and travel-agency offers in one place. Travelers can compare routes and fares, explore flexible dates, and monitor price changes before selecting a flight.

Aviasales generally does not sell the ticket itself. When you choose an option, the service redirects you to the airline or booking agency responsible for processing the purchase.

The current opportunity is flight comparison, not a verified promotional code. We have not established a working public Aviasales promo code or a universal percentage discount for this article. The potential value comes from finding a suitable flight and comparing its real booking conditions before paying.

Aviasales Flight Comparison: What to Check Before Booking

The table highlights why the cheapest displayed ticket is not necessarily the most suitable purchase. A flight with a longer connection, restricted baggage allowance or stricter change rules may be less useful than a slightly more expensive alternative.

How Aviasales Works — From Search to Seller

Aviasales is a flight metasearch platform. Rather than operating its own airline or selling every ticket directly, it collects available flight options from airline and travel-agency partners and presents them for comparison.

The process begins with a search for your departure city, destination and travel dates.

Search for flights using your actual travel plans

Visit the official Aviasales flight search and enter your intended route. Select your departure date, return date if applicable, number of passengers and preferred cabin class.

Aviasales then displays matching results. Depending on the route, these may include direct flights, connecting services and different combinations of travel times and ticket prices.

Searching with your real dates and passenger details matters because an attractive fare shown for another period may not be available for your trip.

Compare Airline and Agency Options

Once the results appear, compare more than the displayed price.

Useful filters include the number of stops, departure and arrival times, airports, airlines, layover duration and baggage allowances. You can also sort results to examine different options.

Aviasales provides details about flight conditions and fare rules shared by its partners. These can help you distinguish between a cheaper restrictive fare and an option with more useful flexibility.

The official Aviasales service guide explains how search results, filters and ticket selection work.

Complete the purchase with the actual seller

After selecting a flight, Aviasales shows the available booking partners and redirects you to the chosen seller to complete the reservation and payment.

Before confirming the transaction, check that the flight details, passenger information, baggage conditions and amount payable match your expectations.

Save the seller’s confirmation email and itinerary receipt. They identify the booking provider you may need to contact later.

Check Baggage and Ticket Conditions Before Paying

Baggage is one of the most important differences between flight fares that initially appear similar.

A low displayed airfare may include only cabin baggage, while another ticket includes a checked suitcase. If checked baggage is necessary for your trip, compare the complete cost rather than judging the base airfare alone.

Aviasales offers baggage-related information and filters that help travelers identify suitable options. However, the final allowance and any additional charges depend on the selected ticket and the airline’s conditions.

If baggage is missing from the displayed fare, it may be possible to add it during the seller’s booking process, subject to availability and the applicable terms.

You can review the Aviasales baggage-search guidance before selecting a fare.

Baggage is not the only consideration. Also check whether a ticket can be changed, whether any refund is available, and what charges would apply if your plans changed.

The important comparison is the total cost of the journey you actually need, including necessary baggage and any selected extras.

Flexible Dates, Low-Price Map and Price Alerts

Travelers who can adjust their departure or return dates may have more opportunities to compare different fares.

Aviasales offers several features intended to make that exploration easier.

Explore the low-price calendar

The low-price calendar helps identify dates associated with lower available or recently observed fares.

This is particularly useful when your travel schedule is flexible. However, an indicative fare is not a commitment that the same price will remain available when you proceed to book.

Always reopen the chosen flight and verify its current price.

Discover destinations with the low-price map

The low-price map offers a different way to approach travel planning.

Instead of beginning with one fixed destination, travelers can explore flight-price possibilities across different places. This can be useful when the travel budget or desired experience is more important than visiting one specific city.

Treat the map as a discovery tool, then inspect the itinerary and final booking terms for any destination that interests you.

Monitor prices before making a decision

Aviasales also provides price-change notifications, which can help travelers follow fares for a route without repeatedly performing the same search.

Depending on the available service and notification settings, updates may arrive through an app notification or email.

A notification indicates that a fare has changed. It does not mean the price will continue falling, that a seat is reserved, or that a particular amount of savings is assured.

The Aviasales service overview describes its price notifications, flexible search tools and low-price features.

Does Aviasales Have Flight Deals or Promo Codes?

Aviasales helps users discover flight-price opportunities, but that should not be confused with a universal checkout discount.

Airlines and travel agencies may publish lower fares for particular routes, dates or fare classes. Aviasales can surface available options during a flight search, depending on the offers returned by its partners.

For this article, no public Aviasales promotional code has been independently verified as applicable and working.

That means travelers should not assume that entering an unconfirmed code from a third-party listing will reduce their purchase total.

The more reliable approach is to compare available fares for the intended trip and confirm the final payable amount directly with the seller.

Where a genuine airline-specific promotion exists, review the original airline’s eligibility restrictions separately. Such offers may be limited to particular routes, booking periods or fare types.

Refunds, Exchanges and Booking Support

An important distinction when using Aviasales is the separation between the search service and the company that sells the ticket.

Aviasales explains that flight purchases are completed on the airline’s or agency’s website. The booking provider issues the itinerary confirmation and is responsible for handling relevant ticket changes and refund requests.

Whether a refund or exchange is possible depends on the fare conditions and applicable airline or seller policies.

Some tickets may permit changes for an additional fee, while others impose substantial restrictions. A lower initial fare may therefore be less attractive if your travel plans are uncertain.

If you need to modify a booking, begin by identifying the seller shown on your ticket or payment confirmation.

For further details, consult Aviasales’ official refund and exchange guidance.

Do not assume that contacting the flight-search platform will allow it to change a ticket issued by another company.

When Aviasales Is Worth Using — and When to Compare Elsewhere

Aviasales is particularly useful when you want to evaluate several flight possibilities before choosing a booking provider.

It may be a good fit for travelers who have some date flexibility, want to explore different airlines, or need to compare baggage and connection conditions.

Travelers with tightly fixed schedules can also benefit from its filters, especially when direct flights, particular airports or shorter layovers matter more than finding the lowest headline fare.

However, it makes sense to check the airline’s own website before completing a purchase. An airline may present different available fares, bundled services or booking conditions.

If the difference in price is small, compare customer-support arrangements, change flexibility and the services included in each ticket.

The goal is not to assume that one booking channel always wins. It is to choose the option that delivers the strongest practical value for your specific journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is Aviasales free to use?

Yes. Aviasales provides its flight-search and comparison service free to travelers. You can search different flight options without paying a search fee to Aviasales. If you decide to purchase a ticket, payment is completed with the selected airline or booking agency under that seller’s conditions.

2. Does Aviasales sell airline tickets directly?

Aviasales’ international flight-search service generally directs travelers to airline or travel-agency partners to complete ticket purchases. The selected seller processes the payment and issues the booking confirmation. This distinction matters because the seller, rather than Aviasales, normally handles subsequent ticket changes and refunds.

3. How do Aviasales price alerts and flexible dates work?

Aviasales offers tools for comparing alternative travel dates and receiving notifications when flight prices change. The calendar can help identify potentially lower-priced travel periods, while alerts help users monitor fares. Displayed or notified prices remain subject to availability and can change before booking.

4. Does the cheapest Aviasales flight include checked baggage?

Not necessarily. Baggage allowances vary by airline, route and fare. Aviasales displays baggage information supplied by booking partners and provides filters to help identify suitable tickets. Always confirm the exact allowance and any additional baggage cost on the seller’s booking page.

5. Who handles flight refunds and changes after an Aviasales search?

The airline or travel agency that sold the ticket normally handles refund and exchange requests. Eligibility depends on the purchased fare and applicable airline or seller policies. Check your itinerary or payment receipt to identify the seller and review the relevant conditions before submitting a request.

Final Verdict: Compare the Complete Fare, Not Just the Headline Price

Aviasales offers a practical starting point for comparing flight options, especially when you want to investigate several airlines, adjust travel dates or monitor price changes.

Its main value is the ability to examine available flights and narrow the results around your actual travel requirements. It is not necessary to rely on an unverified discount code to make use of the service.

Before buying, confirm the total payable price, baggage inclusion, connection details, seller identity and refund or change conditions. Travelers with fixed plans may prioritize schedule and convenience, while those with more flexibility can take fuller advantage of date comparisons and price alerts.

Compare available flights on the official Aviasales website and review the selected seller’s final terms before paying.
